History of Vinayak Local Area Bank
Vinayak Local Area Bank is a banking company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956. VLABL is the first Local Area Bank approved by the Reserve Bank of India in 1999. The license was issued by Reserve Bank of India on 28th July, 2000.
The Bank was granted license to operate in the notified backward districts of Rajasthan i.e. Sikar, Jhunjhunu and Churu, where even the basic amenities were lacking. It was set up in 2000 with huge investment on infrastructure and the same is maintained till date. It is established as a “Local Area Bank” to serve in the Shekhawati Region of the Rajasthan. It was the first Bank in the entire Shekhawati Region of Rajasthan to install ATM Machine with modern facilities at that time. The Bank has always complied with the guidelines, rules & regulations from time to time.
